INTRODUCTION

Welcome to my blog, here is my journey of learning how to apply AI in ELT. I will explain and show my practices on key aspects learned in Module I , Module II, Module III and Module IV of this course, which will facilitate and improve my teaching process. All that I have learned so far will make a remarkable change in the development of my classes, making use of unique, meaningful, and interactive content with AI tools. My thought at the beginning, being a new topic was that AI tools could only be used by informatic engineers. Now, for instance, having learned how to structure a prompt:

(P erson, A im, R ecipients, T heme, S tructure)  and get a desired output in an AI assistant my thoughts changed completely. Before starting Module III, I thought that the AI tools did not have an extensive ability to generate meaningful activities, much less create complete class plans more easily. The important thing is always to review the output given so that we as teachers can be sure of accomplishing our class learning objectives. Prior to commencing Module IV, I harbored significant anticipations regarding the AI-driven assessment tools, while simultaneously maintaining a critical perspective on their potential efficacy and alignment with established pedagogical objectives. My initial approach was characterized by a nuanced blend of intellectual curiosity and methodological skepticism, seeking to evaluate the structural integrity and precision of the proposed assessment mechanisms.I have expected to significantly improve my class planning as the development of them thus achieving effective language learning with my students, getting out of my comfort zone, and innovating my teaching.

You can listen to it when reading ... 😊✌
